Digital Product Refund Policy

1. Nature of Digital Goods

All products sold on OffGridChecklist.com (including PDF guides, XLSX load calculators, and technical blueprints) are digital assets. Unlike physical hardware, digital information cannot be “returned” or “un-read” once accessed.

2. Strict No-Refund Policy

By completing your purchase and receiving a download link, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

All Sales are Final: We do not offer refunds, credits, or exchanges for any digital product once the transaction is complete.
Waiver of Cooling-Off Period: Pursuant to the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (UK) and similar FTC guidelines (US) regarding digital content, you explicitly waive your right to a 14-day cancellation period the moment the download begins or the file is accessed.
No “Buyer’s Remorse”: Refunds will not be issued for “accidental” purchases, changing your mind, or realizing you already knew the information provided.

3. Affiliate Hardware Disclaimer

If you purchase solar panels, batteries, or turbines via an Affiliate Link on our site:

Fulfillment: Your contract is with the third-party retailer (e.g., Amazon, Renogy, Victron).
Returns: Any hardware returns or warranty claims must be handled directly with that retailer. Off-Grid Checklist does not process refunds for physical items we do not ship or stock.

4. Limited Exceptions

We only consider a refund or replacement in the following strictly defined scenarios:

Duplicate Purchase: If you accidentally purchased the exact same guide twice in one transaction, we will refund the duplicate.
Technical Corruption: If the file is proven to be corrupted and we cannot provide a working replacement within 48 hours of your report.
Significant Misrepresentation: If the delivered guide does not match the technical “Main Characteristics” listed on the product page (e.g., the page promised a Solar Wiring Diagram but delivered a Land Checklist).

5. How to Report a Technical Issue

If your file is corrupted, email help@offgridchecklist.com within 7 days of purchase with:

Your Order Number.
The specific error message or a screenshot of the corruption. We will issue a fresh download link or a manual copy within 24–48 hours.
